Biography of Lorraine Cowburn.

Dec 2011 Wrote and directed Shadow theatre show for Musical ARC which was performed at Seven Arts in Leeds. This was a music/story telling puppetry and shadow theatre project and saw a full house for two nights in Dec 2011.

May 2011-ongoing  M.D. for" Out In Tune" Bradford Based community Choir run by Equity partnerships Bradford.

Jan 2010-April 2010 Director and project leader for "The mango tree" a performance in Leeds held @ "The Venue" Leeds-this was a collaboration between musical ARC a Leeds based disability group, Devika Rao classical Indian Dancer and Nita Basu chaudri an Indian story teller  with Leeds based proffesional musicians and local school choir.

2008-2009 Fused Ensemble
Musical Director of youth music group based in
Leeds, including week long excursion to Aberdeen.
Funded by Leeds City Council and Leeds International
Concert Season “Fused” perform their own material and combine
Indian Classical with western styles.

2006 ongoing Leeds Steiner home school network.
Teaching children in the home enviroment using the Steiner
Education approach. Currently two half days with three class one
Children.

Workshop leader in Primary/secondary schools in Yorkshire teaching and demonstrating Samba, Indian music inc Tabla and Indian singing with story. Workshops include singing of all kinds from traditional music from around the world to Jazz,folk and contemporary.
